Hello Sellers, 👋

Another holiday season is approaching, and we want to open a discussion on a Quick Tip: Enable holiday mode.

Sellers in other stores shared with us feedback that when you go on holiday and activate holiday mode on your account, you currently have no way to communicate to your customers the date when you will be back in operation and it causes inconvenience for both you and your customers.

We would like to collect feedback from you, which will help us identify any necessary changes.

We want to hear from you on the following questions:

• How many times a year do you go on holiday and activate holiday mode on your account?

• What specific problems have you encountered in not being able to communicate the return date to your customers? Have there been complaints, loss of sales, or anything else?

• What alternative solutions would you suggest, in addition to the automatic message (e.g., notice on the store page, push notifications to customers, etc.)?

We would appreciate your insights!

Request an extension to DD+7 to 30 September 2025

Earlier this week we received this email

'Hello,

We recently moved your account to the standard base reserve policy called “Delivery Date Based Reserve” or “DD+7”. If you are concerned about the impact this transition has had, please contact payments-investigate@amazon.co.uk by 15 November 2024 and we’ll evaluate a transition extension until 30 September 2025. Send the email from an email address associated with your Seller account and include your merchant token. '

According to the moderator Roberto @Seller_Udi0JNbTrsmUV in a response on another thread a couple of weeks ago the email to send such a request is eu-uk-reserve-policy-extension@amazon.co.uk

Is the email we received genuine and which e mail address do we send the request to?

My 1st year on Amazon

discussion. I took the plunge to sell my handmade products on Amazon last December. The first six months were a real, hard learning curve. I unbeknowingly violated the odd policy, waited forever for my account to be fully verified and waisted hundreds of pounds on advertising without really understanding what I was doing. My margins were poor and I began to feel like I needed a degree in Amazon marketplace. I persevered and persevered to understand the maths, algorithms, listing quality and keywords (amongst a thousand other things) and can finally say that it has all been totally worth it. My small business is going from strength to strength and I seemingly have attracted a loyal customer base. My only gripe is "Handmade". I have applied three times, with extensively thorough descriptions, videos and photographs of how I produce my products by hand. On every occasion the application is refused with no explanation as to why? It's a small gripe but the lower fees would really help in expanding. Anyway. I truly hope that everyone has a successful Christmas season and I very much look forward to the madness.

Inbound Transportation Fees and Shipping Inquiry

Amazon replied

I was charged £159.64 for Inbound Transportation Fees, but Amazon closed my case a day before my scheduled collection on 28/10/2024. UPS informed me my collection was rejected because my residential area isn’t suitable for pickups, even though I’ve received shipments on pallets here from china. UPS asking if i can rearrange a different pickup location but my case has closed in amazon.

Overall not a nice experience as Our address is a residential address however I can't find anything on the carrier policies that state they cannot pickup from a residential address or they never reached out to me before collection date, we have had pallets dropped off by woodland group in our location previously, unfortunately you can't pick which one when you create a shipment system picked automatically. Amazon can't see anything from their end in regards to the rejection so I am at a loss for what to do and not sure if i can get my Inbound Transportation Fees back.

I'm facing a tough situation with my Amazon seller account. Due to the recent festive season, my ODR (Order Defect Rate) increased to 1.5%, which unfortunately led to the loss of my Featured Offer eligibility.

Since then, I've noticed a significant decline in my sales. I'm really worried about the impact this will have on my business.

**Has anyone faced a similar situation?** If so, how did you recover from it?

**What strategies can I implement to improve my ODR and regain Featured Offer eligibility?**

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

I have emailed the community guidelines team regarding a Vine review that is factually incorrect and promotes hate speech. Does anyone know what the turnaround time is for Amazon to review requests to remove a review?

I’m a new seller and this situation has resulted in zero sales since the review was made. It seems potential customers are drawn to the false review rather than the 5 star ones that the product has received.

Where to add Ingredients to a listing?

I have some cosmetic products listed on Amazon but can't seem to find a section where I can include all the products ingredients, I just had a listing taken down due to these missing ingredients, I'm very happy to provide them as I do as standard on other platforms but when I try to edit the listing, there is no section for ingredients.

Can anyone point me in the right direction with this please?

Amazon is out of stock but keeps on decreasing the price to fix the buybox for future sales.

this has badly effected health of the listing.

Recommended retail price is 32.99, Amazon with no stock on hand is offering the product for 22.99 to hold the buybox promising delivery within 7months.

Amazon is expected to adhere to the competition laws, could you please remove or amend the amazon offering? this will allow the seller partners to have an opportunity to get a share of the buybox.
