Amazon lost stock - refusing to reimburse
Hi everyone,
I shipped 50 units to BHX4 on the 20th of Feb. 47 units got checked in, and 3 units showed discrepancies with the following status: “Investigation completed – shipment contents counted and confirmed”. They were packed in 3 boxes, all showing as delivered and all of the boxes had similar amounts of units in them. I opened a case with SS as I know I have shipped them and they kept replying that they had counted them and they didn’t receive the units.
I decided to look into this myself and I checked the Inventory Ledger report. All three units were received at BHX4 and later transferred to BSR2, they then lost the units at BSR2. So I took screenshots of the report and opened another case. They kept saying that they have not received the units, despite their own reports showing that they have received them. They have now sent an email saying that the outcome is final and they will not reimburse me.
I would normally take the loss and let it go, but the combined value of the units is £273.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Escalate case to the Executive Seller Team by emailing at managingdirector@amazon.co.uk giving brief but clear details. If no joy, send them a Letter Before Action and a week later, start Small Claims Court proceedings. Very straightforward.
Google how to do this if you don’t know.
