Do UPS use carrier central to make an Appointment?
Hi Guys,
I shipped a large shipment to Amazon via sea cargo.
Shipment created: Feb 17
Shipment arrived in France: April 4
Shipment cleared customs/handed to freight forwarder (hopefully tomorrow)
My freight forwarder cannot deliver to Amazon and recommended I try UPS.
I cannot change the shipment/make a new one (storage rules)
So I will arrange pick up/delivery on UPS.com
I want to know at what point will UPS make the appointment through carrier central?
The reason I ask, my shipment has changed to (delivered/checked in/receiving) as it was created almost 3 months ago (it will close in 13 days)
If I can get an ARN the shipment will not be automatically closed.
I am asking UPS but they have no idea what Im talking about.
Does anyone know their steps?!

As far as i know UPS have pre-scheduled delivery slots already set up, so they don’t make an appointment.
