HTML coding showing up on my listing - help!

My listing is suddenly showing all the HTML coding on my bullets?? Not pretty!
I have redone them all using the sellerapp.com tool, but when I copy them into the listing it still seems to show on the live listing??

Probably something silly I am doing, but struggling to work it out! Anyone had the same issue please and resolved?? thanks

You’re not allowed to use HTML coding on the bullets, so there shouldn’t be any there.

Only that you shouldn’t really have HTML in your bullet points. AFAIK, they only allow < br > now and that’s in the description.

Do you mean bullet points as in ones you’ve created yourself ( < ul > < li > etc), or the actual Amazon bullet point fields? If the former, then you’ll need to switch to something like a - (dash) and then < br > at the end for a new line.

I have newer listings, done without any HTML except for < br > and old listings (before their announcement) I still haven’t got round to that had some other basic HTML (bold, italics). But although Amazon said they will strip out HTML and possibly the content in-between (they never clarified a direct Q when I asked), I’ve not had any issues except 1 - 2 listings where the description will just not update no matter what I do.
