My product contains a small built-in battery (lithium_metal).
First time I submitted the battery exemption sheet. Result: classified as dangerous good, FBA fulfillable when registered for dangerous goods program.
I apply for the DGP, get approved. I want to replenish my inventory, error message: product under hazmat review.
I once again re-submit the battery exemption sheet, I receive an email a day later that it has been classified as Dangerous good, FBA fulfillable. Same classification as last time. I get told to wait 48 hours for the status to update on my seller central account.
A week later, my products have been waiting at the warehouse ready to be shipped for over a week now, I try to create a shipment plan. Error message: product under hazmat review. Status: "not classified: unable to classify".
What is going wrong here? My product has been hazmat classified and approved two times now, yet it is back to being under review and this time it is saying they are unable to classify my product? I am losing valuable time and money, as my inventory is running out and I am unable to ship my next inventory order. It is still waiting at my suppliers warehouse, well over a week now, until I can finally create a shipment plan. To top it off I paid an FBA storage reservation fee for this order, that I will have to pay for if I don't use it.
I don't understand how the status can go from classified twice, to unable to be classified. Any help is welcome.
