The item was damaged in the fulfilment centre

Hello. I had an alert come up on FBA inventory that an item was unfullfillable so went to request a removal of the item. It’s come up with “The item was damaged in the fulfilment centre. Amazon takes responsibility for this damage. No further action is required.” - I can see it states no further action required, do I now have to wait for Amazon to dispose of the item for that QTY to vanish from the report? Thank you

Amazon will reimburse you since the item was damaged in the fulfillment centre, but they won’t dispose of it. Most likely you will soon find it listed by them against the same ASIN.
