Urgent issue with checked in inventory

Dear seller support forums, we are having a serious issue with our last checked in shipment and would appreciate any and all advice.

  • On August 13, Amazon marked our shipment (FBA15CZL4HCW) as checked into their warehouse. This shipment was for 750 units of our top selling ASIN.

  • Over the next 12 days, there where 275 orders that came in for that ASIN. None of those orders shipped and Amazon has kept those orders in pending sold ever since.

  • On August 25, Amazon marked all of the units in reversed status, saying that the units are being moved to another warehouse. The 275 sold units are still marked as pending sold.

We are now receiving negative customer feedback, as it’s been weeks since our customers have ordered and Amazon have still not given us an update as to when these orders will be shipped or what is going on with our stock.

We are pulling our hair out over this as this stock is needed for our business, seller support has given zero help our guidance.

If you are not going anywhere with Seller Support (and who does?), then it may be work emailing the MD at managingdirector@amazon.co.uk one of his team will look at it.

With regards to the feedback, you should be able to request it to be removed. Amazon should strike through this is it is an FBA issue.

This time is really not a long time at the moment some shipments are still taking nearly a month to unload, whilst I appreciate how frustrating it is we are all in the same boat but need to consider whats going on in the world and just lump it and be patient everyone is doing there best.

If 275 is higher than normal it is likely to be a competitor, whilst status is pending the transaction has not fully completed and the buyer cant leave feedback for an item whilst this status is showing.
You may recall a news update saying customers can buy from stock due in when Amazon are able to confirm the date, so for example your stock can be purchased today that might not clear for another 7 days or so this is likely to be another potability to why the orders are showing pending still.

From what you have stated above it does not sound like there is any issue with losses or errors at amazon other than the reviews, for this I would look at the individual reviews to see what order it relates to. If it is relating to orders in pending the customer would have been able to see the expected date when placing the order and if the review is slowly stating item not arrived or to that affect you should be able to create a new case with SS to have this removed.

Thank you all for the response.

However, it’s now been over a month and Amazon have yet to give an explanation. We are losing faith by the day.
