Account closure problem
Hello guys,
Please I need help here. I have tried to close my account few years ago. But I was unsuccessful no matter how many times I have tried. Now I received an email the first from at least 3 years that I own money. I don’t want to pay for something which no one this time helps me to close
Please give me an advice what I should do.

If your account was suspended at the time then you wouldn’t have been able to close it. Basically Amazon leave it open but suspended until such time as an appeal is successful.
What kind of sum do you owe and do you know what it is for? Did you owe anything at the time?

What do you owe money for ? - did they say.
I believe you will not be able to fully close an account if there is money owing, and you can only get an account closed (Amazon need to do it I think) if it is active.
How long since you used yours - is it dormant, deactivated, or suspended ?
