Account suspended help with appeal letter

Hi I was hoping I could have some feedback on my appeal letter to amazon this was the notification I reived from them

We found that your account is related to an account that may not be used to sell on our site. As a result, you may no longer sell on Amazon.co.uk.

We removed your listings from our site. Funds will not be transferred to you but will be held in your account while we work with you to address this issue. Please ship any open orders to avoid further impact to your account.

You can see your balance and settlement information in the Payments section of Seller Central. If you have questions about those, please write to payments-investigate@amazon.co.uk.

If you want to appeal this decision, click the Appeal button next to this email on the Performance Notifications page in Seller Central.

This was my fault I was trying to follow instructions from brand registry to link a second account to a second brand that I started so that I could thank customers for reviews etc with an official comment that came from the brand but in the process I have broken terms of service about only having 1 account and you cant have a second without prior approval.

This is my appeal letter I would appreciate any help from anyone that has had to go through this process as I haven’t before. They have also only stopped my European store and my other international stores are still up taking and shipping orders.

Dear Amazon

I would like to appeal my decision for you to suspend my amazon EU seller account after I breached amazons terms of service It was an honest mistake and will not happen again.

The Mistakes I made where

  • · To start a second seller account without realising that I needed prior permission
  • · To thank customers for providing reviews with this second account
  • · To try to link this account to my Initial so it could be the brand account

I have since taken action to resolve all of these mistakes by

  • · Asking amazon to shut the second account that I started
  • · Deleted all comments made by this account
  • · Unlinked the new account from my initial one
  • · Refamiliarized myself with the correct way to set up an account with multipole brands

I believe since becoming an amazon seller I have made a positive contribution to the marketplace by

  • · Always making sure to provide the best customer service and shipping times by using FBA on all my items
  • · Getting great feedback for all my products with 4/5 star reviews
  • · Registering my brands with brand registry to provide customers with the best shopping experience possible
  • · Always replying promptly to any customer enquires or feedback

Here some recommendations for your plan :slight_smile:

  1. root causes of the problem (these have to be explained thoroughly, with details of why and how the problem happened, after reviewing your current business model and processes, WHY do you believe it happens? What went wrong?

  2. The steps you immediately took to resolve the root cause(s) you identified. (what have you done, and what did you change within your business model or processes to eliminate those root causes? HOW?)

  3. How you will avoid similar issues from happening again (Provide a timeline. Think long-term.)

Your plan should be more detailed in every part.

When creating your plan of action, explain the issue, and the steps you have taken to prevent similar complaints.

Please, present further proactive steps and describe them clearly and in more detail, so that the correspondent department can deeply understand your situation.

I’m pointing out the above, because it’s not just the fact that you have opened a second account.
What they are actually saying is that your account is linked to one that is SUSPENDED!
So unless your original account that your referring to is actually suspended, then there is another account in play here and you need to account for it.

Actually, to be more precise, the linked account can’t be used to sell on Amazon.
It may not be “suspended” so much as not yet fully verified, as in a false start to registration that was then abandoned…

I opened a second account and then linked the two without verifying the second account first does that provide more clarity

The cause of the problem was that I opened a second seller account and then linked it to my first one without having verified the second account fully first. This happened because I was rushing and didn’t properly consult with amazons terms of service before I did this. I was trying to open a second seller account so I could use it as my second brands registered account in order to thank customers for their reviews.

  • · To thank customers for providing reviews with this second account making it appear as though I was trying to manipulate a listing
  • · To try to link this account to my Initial so it could be the brand account for a second brand without having fully verified the account first

I have since taken action to resolve all of these mistakes by

  • · Asking amazon to shut the second account that I started by contacting amazon seller support
  • · Deleted all comments made by this account
  • · Unlinked the new account from my initial one
  • · Refamiliarized myself with the correct way to set up an account with multipole brands

The further Action I will take to ensure that this doesn’t happen again going forward are

  • · Ensuring that all my information on all my listings complies with amazons TOS
  • · Ensuring I do detailed research on the correct way to implement Brand feedback before I do anything
