Account suspended

#1

Hello, my account was suspended today, because amazon thinks it is related to another account, can anyone help?

Hello

Your Amazon.co.uk Seller account has been deactivated. Your listings have been disabled. Funds will not be transferred to you but will be held in your account while we work with you to address this issue. This may take up to 90 days, but funds may be held longer. Please ship any open orders to avoid further impact to your account.

Why is this happening?
We found that your account is related to a different account that may not be used to sell on our site. As a result, you may no longer sell on Amazon.co.uk through this account.

Has your account been deactivated in error?
If you believe there has been an error, please submit an explanation detailing why your account should be reinstated by following this link https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/cu/contact-us.

You can view your account performance at (https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/performance/dashboard?ref=ah_em_ap) or select Account Health on the home screen of the Amazon Seller app on your iOS or Android device. The Account Health dashboard shows how well your account is performing against the performance metrics and policies required to sell on Amazon.

Amazon believe they have found a link between this account and another account which is either currently suspended, or has never been fully opened.
The link will be something that ties the two accounts together, that might be a shared address, bank account, owner/partner, email address… Basically any solid link that the two accounts share

You have two options.
1; Find the other account and then work on having that accounts suspension lifted.
Once you have done that you can appeal the suspension of this account by admitting your error, whatever it turns out to be, and asking for the new account to be closed so that you can continue with the original [currently suspended] account.

2: If you investigate but can find no link [Amazon are very rarely wrong BTW] then you can appeal, as per the notification and explain why you believe the suspension of this account is an error.

I am sorry to hear that your Seller Account has been deactivated. When your account gets suspended due to being related to another seller account which may not be used to sell on the site, it means that Amazon detected that it shares some information with another storefront, which is currently suspended.

In order to appeal a suspension like this, you will firstly need to find the exact cause of the link. It could be anything - e-mail address, phone number, bank account, credit card or inventory.

Have you or none of your close family members ever had any previous account which was suspended? Also, did you ever use any of the details mentioned above which could have belonged (or previously belonged) to someone else (even as a buyer)?

Once you find the link, you will need to appeal with a Plan of Action addressing the following points:

– Why your account is related to multiple fraudulent and blocked accounts

– Why your account should be reinstated

– How you intend to avoid relationships with risky sellers moving forward

– A request for re-review of your account and why it should be accepted
