[Action Required] Information needed for your Selling on Amazon payment account

Hi
I received the following notification and I am not sure exactly what documents they require. My account is registered under the LTD company of which I am the director and my wife is a shareholder. Are they asking for (Incorporation Certificate)?
In the notification point number 2 states “Click “+Add beneficial owner” which is located at the bottom of the screen, in blue font.” But I do not see the “Add beneficial owner” under the Identity Information section on Seller Central, see snapshot attached.
Can you please direct me exactly what documents to upload and how to add a beneficial owner which is perhaps my wife.

You can download the extract from companies house website free of charge. Upload the PDF to Amazon.

Before the lockdown they usually verified this information within a day or two, most likely longer at the moment.

If that screenshot is up to date, it shows you have added the Company Name, Registration Number and Address details. According to that, you have not uploaded the Articles and Memorandum of Association or the Share Allotment Certificates. The Share Allotment Certicate determines what percentage of shares are owned by who (ie, the beneficial owners). You should have these as part of your company registers. Where it says “Upload Document” you should be able to click on that and add the necessaries.

This file has already been uploaded, as per the screenshot. It is the Articles and Memorandum of Association that needs to be uploaded, along with the Share Allotment Certificates

Thanks for you replies. But currently only my name shows under Beneficial owners in SC. Where can I add my wife as a beneficial owner because there is no “Add beneficial owner” link as stated in number 2 of the notification “Click “+Add beneficial owner” which is located at the bottom of the screen, in blue font.”

You don’t need to add your wife as a beneficial owner in seller central. Just upload the following document as requested as that shows the beneficial owner/s of your company.

Memorandum of Association or Statement of Capital – this document displays the shareholders and the division of the shares

The Companies House documents can be obtained from http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/

Summary

What information am I required to provide?

  1. Private limited liability companies registered in the United Kingdom:
  • Current Appointments Report (CAR) dated from the past 90 day
  • Utility Bill, Bank Statement or Credit Card Statement in the name of the Business and dated from the past 90 days
  • Articles of Association
  • Memorandum of Association or Statement of Capital – this document displays the shareholders and the division of the shares

Thanks Anglozone for your reply, but the notification email from Amazon is specifically asking to follow the instruction below and “Add beneficial owner”. But I cannot see the link as suggested in point number 2 of their email:

Can you please check the attached snapshot and advice whether these are the right documents they requested:
For the Memorandum of association I found this page on the company house for my company which has no logo or anything, is this acceptable?

I found this 11 pages document but no where does it state the names of my company or the name of the director and shareholders, is this the article of association? Is it the right document?

Can you kindly share how you resolved this in the end ?

Question is how to add a new beneficial owner - as it clearly doesn’t always show as an option within settings.

I believe you need to send in the shares allotment too
