Alibaba Supplier won't tell me their adress or contact info
I am looking to buy a product from an Alibaba supplier in China, I ask for their adress and phone number and they don’t want to tell me that infomation. Is this a red flag? I need the infomation to put into a new product listing, to show where the items shipped from. I could alternativly get the products shipped to my adress and ship the items to Amazon from there, where I put my adress as the shipping from adress.

Have you got any sales history with them ?
Surely you’d get stock sent to you first anyway to check you are actually getting what you’ve paid for

Would you really want to give money to a company that won’t give you their address and phone number?

No history with them but it would cost me £120 for 500 units so I was thinking because it is so cheap and as it is a very simplistic product that has no function other to be looked at. I have seen the photos of it

Also if they won’t give details you won’t get a proper invoice that Amazon will accept

Yes, bright red and humongous one too. Avoid.

Quite aside from red flags, there is no reason to have a Chinese supplier’s details on a listing (that I can think of).
It makes no sense as all regulatory reasons for having an address would require a UK/EU based address, not a Chinese one. The misconception here is that the manufacturer is responsible for the goods, they are not really. If you are importing the goods for sale into the EU or UK then you are the one legally responsible, you are responsible for safety, liability everything because you are the one putting them on the marketplace here.
