In the top search box upon searching my brand name "Aavtan Harnus", the search bar changes the "aavtan harnus" to "navratna harness" and displays results related to Navratna Harness. At the bottom of the search bar, a small link appears "Search instead for aavtan harnus".
I have a trademarked brand "Aavtan Harnus", and also enrolled in amazon's brand registry program since Dec 2024.
I was informed by the support team that my brand name is not present in the ASIN catalog. This is a huge blunder from amazon, as over the past 4 months I have spent more than $1000 on sponsored ads to gain organic ranking, and now I am been told that my brand is not even recognized by amazon's search algorithm !!!
I have opened a case with ID 17618459371 with the support team.
Then the support team bounced me to three team members over the chat, and the last member did not even bother to read the issue and gave me a templated response that my product is not appearing in search results because it is not indexed for "navratna" and "harness!"!!
They suggested me to have the correct brand name in the product listing as well as in the title. This is already there since day 1. My brand name appears correctly on the product page under the title. Though somehow my brand name does not appear in the title on the product page.
It was a nightmare to make them understand the issue of search box wrongly modifying my search query.
I hope someone from amazon can resolve this issue, so that my brand name is searchable in the search box at first attempt with no auto correction. As well as display my brand name in the title.
