I always believed that the retailer was only responsible for returns under manufacturer warranty for the first 30 days.
But apparently I was wrong.
According to trading standards and the Consumer Act, the contract is between you and the customer, so when something goes wrong the customer returns it to you. You then return the item to whoever you bought it from.
So essentially if it comes with a 2 year manufacturer warranty, then you can get the return for 2 years.
