Dear Amazon Community and Moderators,
We urgently request clarification and resolution regarding a critical issue with our shipment FBA STA (03/20/2025 18:49) - TMB8, flagged with “Incorrect Tracking Information (small parcel shipment)”.
To date, Amazon's official Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) policies do not require linking tracking numbers to specific box IDs, nor does Seller Central offer such functionality.
All UPS tracking numbers were correctly and timely entered in Seller Central as required. We were informed that tracking numbers must match the corresponding FBA box ID label on each carton. However, this requirement is technically impossible to fulfill under current Seller Central capabilities.
For international shipments like ours, individual UPS tracking numbers are only generated later in the process, after boxes have been packed and labeled overseas by suppliers or freight forwarders. No seller in this supply chain scenario can pre-link tracking numbers to box labels.
The shipment was properly delivered and received by Amazon without any issues.
Our main concern: Amazon issued 23 separate defects, one per box, for what is effectively a single shipment defect.
This severely inflates our Shipment Defect Rate, unfairly affects our account health, and may put our account at risk of deactivation despite full compliance.
We believe this is an automated system validation error and respectfully request that these defects be consolidated into a single incident or removed entirely.
We would appreciate feedback from other sellers, especially those shipping internationally via small parcel shipments, if they have experienced similar duplicate defect penalties.
We remain fully committed to complying with any future Amazon system that offers the capability to assign tracking numbers to specific box IDs once it becomes officially available.
Thank you to the community and moderators for your attention and support.
