Amazon Delivery Dates - What the Customer Sees against what we Receive
We are Seller Fulfilled Prime
The same day dispatch button is active.
We dispatch Mon - Sat, no dispatch on Sunday.
Out account Status is 100% across the board (I know, i couldn’t believe it either when i checked)
Our last non positive feedback was Dec 21 (Neutral), Oct 21 (Negative)
So after a sustained downturn in the amount of orders we are getting. i had a look at some of the listings and noticed a difference in what the customer sees (Delivery Wed 13th) and what i see (Deliver by Tue 12th) when we receive an order for that item.
What other setting have i overlooked that causes the delivery date the customer sees to be longer that what i receive and indeed what actually happens.
I suppose this may be deliberate to push sales to FBA held stock.
If it is, I hope one of the myriad of investigations that we see going on clamps down on this sort of manipulation by Amazon.

Amazon have said in the past that they manipulate the date buyers see based on information they have about couriers and delivery speeds in order to maintain buyer confidence. Sellers see the original dates.

I am also wondering if a Customer has a bearing on my delivery visibility.
Recently I’ve noticed that a few returns have been for “Missed Estimated Delivery” but tracking shows delivered the next day on the expected deliver by date.
I know they use this reason so as to not get charged the return label cost, but for us to get a ding on our delivery record seems a bit too much!!
I cant see it being beyond the realms of impossibility that when a return is opened and the tracking shows as delivered by the estimated delivery date, the the “Missed Estimated Delivery” option be hidden.
