Amazon moving browse node category
Why is it Amazon every now and again moves your item from one browse node to another, I have spent 1000’s on getting one of my items to the number 1 best seller only for Amazon to move it to another category and then it ranks like 793 as of today, in a totally different place?
this is the 3rd time, normally I email CS a couple of times, and it’s moved back, but this time 3 days of back and forth, still no joy, to the point of me, saying I’m not requesting the change you moved it so I’m telling you to move it back. they destroy all your hard work and years of ppc in one hit,
So frustrated I ended my prime and music subscriptions.
The joys of selling on Amazon No hassle with my Etsy or eBay accounts though put your item in a category and it stays there.

Yes I have had the same as this and thought it was just me.
I had it with parent and child variations whereby one of the child variations moved category and this then jumped out and became a standalone product.
I had to then request it to be changed back but then the product did not go back into the parent and child so I had to delete and relist it.
I’m with you on this one because Amazon do not appreciate that many sellers use PPC to improve rank over time and not just a quick hit to sell a few extra products in the moment.

Amazon Handmade have been having major problems with the Handmade browse nodes since the weekend with more and more folk dropping off and unfindable in the results. As things start to get fixed, as some have reported, maybe some will find they’ve messed up some nodes.
