Anyone else have constant issues with "item not delivered' in France - after proof of delivery from Courier?

I find French Customers constantly claim non delivery - we use P2P Trakpak which gives a tracking number, but another local tracking number is allocated by ColisPrive or LaPoste - Customers tend to claim they haven’t received the goods, until we advise the proof of delivery notice and the local tracking code - Anyone else find this?

Actually yes - probably more than any other country. We also use P2P (FedEx Cross Border).

We are used to it for all countries claiming INR, so have a standard template and generally provide a screenshot of the tracking, tracking information and as much as possible. But would say France is higher than others. Even though Colis Prive gives good tracking I beleive those in France don’t like the service - may be similar to an Evri/Hermes one.

Out of interst what tracking code do you provide Amazon for the shipment? We provide the local one for each country. But have an issue with Spain - Amazon doesn’t track it properly with Correos. Even though it does track fine.

Thanks for your reply!
I use the P2P Trakpak reference i get from ITDGLOBAL - it seems to track as my VTR is 99.73 - we ship a lot Internationally so we don’t have chance to click each one and get the local tracking number - when i did that i found more issues as this number doesn’t show any tracking info until goods are in country and customs cleared

Interesting. We are shipping quite a lot too. We have it all automated with their API. So our own site will pull in the tracking numbers and store on our system and update to Amazon automatically once shipped.

Not sure what - ITDGLOBAL is?

We are directly integrated in with FedEx Cross Border (P2P TrakPak).

When we used the main tracking number Amazon would not track correctly and we would get a lot of emails chasing/claiming not received. We then tried the FedEx number which did work fine with Amazon and track on FedEx website but it didn’t show all delivery information and just the international hub, so customers in USA would claim INR which Amazon would grant.

Finally we have settled on the local tracking number. This seems to work best for all marketplaces we are on. But as you said we do get a few customers saying it hasn’t been posted yet as no tracking update until in country. But we have a template response. Just a pain when Amazons system doesn’t know the carrier name, or for some reason doesn’t pull in the tracking (Correos works fine and shows with no issue yet customers in Spain will ask for a refund as Amazon have told them it hasn’t arrived - we generally provide tracking and proof and they find the package).
