Can a wrong ISBN be removed from a listed item?

greensleeves-books, has used a wrong ISBN:

The product details – date, ISBN, binding and publisher – below do not correspond to the book that greensleeves-books is selling :

Product details
Publisher: Publisher Not Specified (1996)
ISBN-10: 1937787206
ISBN-13: 978-1937787202
Average Customer Review: 5.0 out of 5 stars See all reviews (1 customer review)

I would like this seller to REMOVE THIS WRONG ISBN /: ISBN-10: 1937787206
ISBN-13: 978-1937787202 since this ISBN belongs to another book.

It’s not a question of ‘removing the ISBN’ so much as it is one of +correcting+ the details on the Amazon page that corresponds to that ISBN/ASIN.

ISBNs cannot be altered or removed, but titles and other details can.

But how do you know it’s the wrong book?

What should it be for that ISBN?

Is it possible that two different books have been published with the same ISBNs?

It does happen.

Hello D. Shepherd,

Sellers/buyers can edit some of the product details on the catalogue page. But not the ISBN. If you think the ISBN is incorrect, you can send evidence to Amazon, asking them to change the product page details. A scan of the correct item, showing the ISBN, would be evidence. Although there is the possibility that an ISBN has been re-used, something publishers occasionally do.

Uh oh, it seems the book was banned in Germany as the author is/was a holocaust denier and an apologist for the nazis. :0

I see the OP has now listed the book but with a new image and the title changed from German to English.

I’m not sure who the phantom negger is - I hope it isn’t the OP.

Got to love the Germans.
