Hello Everyone

We’re dealing with a serious fulfillment issue that began after multiple customers complained about receiving the wrong product. Customers ordered one item but were sent a different product instead.

Shortly after, we received a warning message from Amazon requiring us to submit a Plan of Action (POA) due to these customer complaints.

To investigate, we placed a test Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) order of 10 units of the affected product. Out of those, 6 units were correct, but 4 units were actually a different product — yet they were labeled by Amazon’s fulfillment center as the ordered item.

We do not use Amazon labeling, since all our products come with their own barcodes printed directly on the packaging. This mislabeling was done at the fulfillment center without our authorization or any need.

This fulfillment center error is leading to customer dissatisfaction and negative feedback, harming our brand reputation and sales, and putting our account status at risk—all through no fault of our own.

We have photo evidence and detailed documentation and urgently need Amazon’s help to fix this issue before more damage is done.

Has anyone else faced similar FC mislabeling issues or gotten POA warnings for something out of their control? Any tips on escalation and resolution would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

CASE ID: 18126511301

Admins, your assistance is urgently needed — this issue clearly requires human intervention and escalation, as it’s causing substantial financial losses, damaging our brand reputation, and directly affecting our account health and customer trust.

If you plan to take time off over the summer, we recommend that you update your vacation status to prevent new seller-fulfilled orders and protect your account health.

When you set your account to On vacation, we temporarily remove your seller-fulfilled listings from Amazon product detail pages and search results.

If this setting is not enabled, missed shipments can hurt your performance metrics, including the following:

  • Late shipment rate
  • Valid tracking rate
  • Order defect rate
  • Pre-fulfillment cancellation rate

To enable vacation mode, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Store status and vacation settings.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Under Vacation status, use the toggle to set your store status to On vacation.

For more information, go to Listing status for vacations, holidays, and other absences.

Absolutely zero sales
by Seller_kqnOP2Tz20ISr

Absolutely zero sales over the last few days. Metrics perfect, fresh inventory listed ever day. We sell books, dvds and cds in all kinds of categories, with ratings from under a thousand to over five million. It really feels like end times, even though jobs numbers are good, inflation is down, unemployment down. Amz did stellar biz during Prime, so they claim. It's the weekend and sales usually come in batches. But we get nothing. I know, another dead sales thread. The thing is, these patches of zero sales are becoming more frequent on this site. Makes one wonder...

My listing has not even been live for up to a 3 weeks. I've only sold 2 products through Vine, and somehow I've one-star review from an unverified buyer? In the UK, this is illegal. You cannot review something you haven't purchased. Somehow, it's legal in the USA?

Is there a reason why Amazon allows these unverified reviews?

Malicious Review
by Seller_td2B9umpMeuA6

I received a malicious unverified review on my  NEW Amazon listing . I’ve only had six sales , one being MCF. Even my vine orders haven’t reviewed yet and somehow this one is the FIRST and UNVERIFIED review.

I checked the users profile and mine is the ONLY review. They have NOT reviewed any other listings. It appears the account was only just created to post a review on my listing. They gave a one star then wrote “great product.” They obviously haven’t used the product. And it wasn’t an accident to put one star after writing “great product.” I’ve seen this strategy used on other accounts to make it look less malicious as if it was an accidental one star.

I don’t have a customer with that name on any of the sales or even on the other platforms I sell. I also suspect they’re using fake names belonging to REAL people to conduct these malicious acts.

My case ID is : 18124050361

It is NOT a vine customer, neither is the purchase verified.

How does Amazon allow this to happen?

Advice for continuing or not
by Seller_0f67dOPwtA0zM

I'm looking for advice: I started selling on Amazon this year, with a product that has high competition and high demand. Due to its quality, it’s been well accepted, but the problem is I have to pay a lot for advertising in order for it to be seen and purchased. I've used money out of my own pocket to cover the expenses, although I'm getting some organic sales and have a 5-star rating. Still, I feel like keeping the business going might not be profitable. Should I stop once I sell out my inventory, or keep going until it becomes profitable and the whole journey is worth it? Thanks for your time.

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice regarding a confusing situation with Amazon. I got officially approved to sell in the Pet Care category (I have a case confirmation from Amazon stating this). However, when I try to list my product, Amazon still asks me to request approval again.

After submitting the same documentation, I now get a message saying my account doesn’t qualify to sell in this category, which contradicts the previous approval.

Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas on how to fix it or who to reach out to?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi,

I wanted to get brand name for my product so I applied to it, case 18126654811. It was denied at first because of the not exact match with brand name. So I applied again, and system is giving me that you can't make duplicate cases. I tried few times but no luck with it, reapplied cases 18127028611, 18127409421

FYI- The case also includes GTIN exemption
