Contract duration with Avalara
Hi, does anyone know how long the contract signed with Avalara through the Amazon website is valid for?
I’m about to switch agency and I don’t want to pay 2 services at the same time.
Also, do we pay Avalara directly or Amazon for this?

I have received AVALARA letter 7 months old from HMRC o pay taxes

Well my experience with Avalara was really bad.
Communication nearly 0, they send me letters from HMRC 6-7 months old with penalties …

I have switched to AVASK as AMAZON gave me free service and they DO NOT offer AVALARA anymore because of numerous complains
So far i am very happy
All my emails are answered within 24h as its in CONTRACT !
Also i have a chance to talk to live person !

Think I’m about to bite the bullet and move away, even if i have to pay more and pay twice.
Avalara/Vat Services are simply appalling. I’ve got letters from The Germany threatening to cancel my VAT registration due to non payment of VAT, because they haven’t received previous filings. The filings were created, but not submitted. I’ve paid all the tax due, but am now going to have to pay an extra 3K just to prevent court proceedings.
Avalara won’t answer the phone and Avalara/Vat services won’t provide any updates. To cap it all off, yesterday I received the original correspondence from Avalara, from months ago. The only reason i found out about the mess is because the German vat office wrote to me at my home address. I’m furious.

Hi,
Has anyone had a positive or neutral experience with Avalara? I have gathered and filed all the documents required to register companies in germany, poland, Check republic, spain, italy, UK and i am now seeing so many people unsatisfied, I’m not confident to use their services. At the same time it was so time consuming to get all the docs I don’t want to go through the process again.
what do you recommend?
