Credit card invalid
Hi,
I keep receiving the message " Unable to charge. Amazon is not able to charge with the listed charge methods. This could be either due to incorrect details or lack of bank’s permission for respective marketplace."
The details entered is a UK debit card NOT a credit card, I am assuming this is why it is invalid. I moved addresses so I thought this was the issue and changed the address but it is still invalid. How do I delete the card details, start afresh and solve this problem? there is no option to delete ‘credit card’ details.

You can only delete your charge method once you add another option to your list. There should be an option when you go to your charge method which says edit or change charge method. You should be able to add another from there.

I’m having the same problem they took money out my card last week but all till now it’s sayin they can’t charge it and rang my bank up and there are no blocks or anything on my card so what can I do?

Yh none of it does applies to me I’ve been tryner get a phone call back of Amazon and they keep sending me to my account and on anything you do just says card invalid

I have the same problem, I tried few cards already, some of them were debits. But it doesn;t matter if it’s credit or debit, it doesn’t work. It’s weird because every time Amazon is able to charge the verification amount. My bank states that everything is correct. Every time when changing information on charge method I waited few days and still the same error “Credit card invalid”. There isn’t even any alternative payment method so I think I’m done with Amazon

I am facing the same issue and i replace my card 3 times . It says to wait for 48 hours. Amz also deduct 1 GBP every time to check whether card is working fine or not. its need more than 24 hours. However i ll wait till 48 hours. but to post here to see if anyone else is facing the same issue and get it solved in 48 hours. It seems Amazon has some issue with the payment or charge method process that it takes so long. The only way they are keep telling to replace card again and again. but thats not a solution to a problem. Because everytime you will do the same thing and nothing will happen if it didnt happened first time. I think that Amz will only confirm and verify at some specific automatic time that they have set for every seller account in a month or in that week. Once that come, it can only be done at that time. Seller support doesnt know and bother to do anything. they are just having the same answer that this is the only way to charge again and again. and to wait.
