Etail USA - Any experience of using them?
Hi all,
We are looking for alternatives for shipping to the USA other than The Royal Mail - Came across a company named Etail USA who seem to offer a service that sounds too good to be true for shipping to the USA. Does anybody have any first hand experience of using them at all?
Thanks!

You could try OCS Worldwide which can also be bought through parcel2go

I’ve used them in the past, the parcels are collected in the UK by Hermes and shipped to the US Postal Services terminal at Heathrow where the USPS take over.

We used them for a few years.
The only reason we stopped was that they stopped their service to the rest of the world and kept the USA part.
I was sceptical at first and made a lot of enquiries but couldn’t find much information on them.
I even looked up one of their addresses that appeared to be a residence.
I took the plunge and had fantastic service from Etail-USA.
The way that the USA used to work is that you send your parcels to them.
They then send via UPS to “INJECT” into New York, as they call it, into USPS and USPS then deliver.
All fully tracked with a USPS tracking reference. At the time it was £2.99 but I expect it is a little higher now. From memory that was for a 50 gram Large letter packet.
Sadly we didn’t have very much for the USA, only a few packets a day, and for us made it non viable to send to them.
When you compare to Royal Mail it’s a no brainer as Royal Mail do the same.
Send to the USA and use USPS to deliver.
They are very personable and bent over backwards to accommodate my weird needs (software wise).
If you need any information then let me know and I will try to help.
Can’t quite remember the persons name, but I think one or two of them were called Kevin.

We use the USPS delivery service via Transglobal Express:
https://www.transglobalexpress.co.uk/services/usps/
The prices are cheaper than Etail USA
No tiered pricing structure.
Tracked via their site once they receive it.
Comparable transit times.
Tracked on the USPS site once handed over to them.
Bulk Upload option available.
Credit account available.
We use our own courier to get the box of parcels to them, but they can pick up from you.
With them, i can send a 100gm package tracked to the US cheaper than 1st class in the UK.

i’ve used a few companies and etail were definitely the worst
really wierd company, no contact tel number or address on the website
The transit times were nothing like advertised and we had quite a few items go missing. No compo, but that’s standard.
Very inconvenient that you don’t get tracking numbers back until the next day either so you have to go back into all yoru orders and add the tracking later
would recommend PLI-UK for best US rates. they have a few different services depending on what kind of transit aims you have

Seeing this thread made me think if we can now start taking advantage of these type of lower cost USA tracked services (we use RM at the moment). We only sell to USA through our own website at the moment so about 2 sales per week and some weeks – none but we are looking at getting an Amazon USA seller account so I reached out to both etail-usa and Transglobal Express to get some info relevant to our potential lower volume US shipping requirements for later this year.
From the info I got back from both Companies the service from etail-usa seems to score over Transglobal in a number of areas that would be important to us if we start to sell on Amazon USA.
Transglobal don’t collect from you – etail usa do.
Etail usa delivery time is 4-5 days, Transglobal is 7-10 days.
Transglobal charge £30 per parcel extra for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico etc whereas etail usa only charge £1 more for these destinations. This is particularly important to us due to our products selling quite well (relatively) in Hawaii and PR
Etail usa confirmed that they integrate with Linnworks.
The prices seem to be about the same but due to having to pay for collections Transglobal would cost more. I can see that etail us DO have contact details on their website (somewhere in Bedford) and telephone number etc so I was worried when I saw that from another poster here but not so much now.
If I start using them as I now intend to based on their response to my enquiry I will post feedback here but this might be a few months’ time as we have a lot of product work to do before we can start selling on Amazon USA.

Try eTail and you will be pleased. We are using them for past few months and they are way better than Royal Mail, way cheaper and even as I had few claims filed by dishonest customers I was able to proof my case/delivery
Guys are eTail are also friendly, patient and will help you in no time.
Thanks to them our sales gradually are growing.
Kind regards Kristof
