Failed verification process

I made a business account with Amazon in November 2021 and started selling. I have attached my Business registration documents. My name is Zahoor Bilal and I am the primary contact person of this account, I have attached my Goverment issued Passport.

I understand that Amazon needs to verify the identity of Primary contact person of the account. I provided my bank statement as my proof of the address document at the time of Amazon account creation. I got an email from Amazon on 7th December 2022 that Amazon needs some additional documents from me as a proof of address document because the bank statement I provided at the time of account creation was not dated within 180 days. I provided Amazon my bank statement but the verification team did not accept that as proof of my address document, and I think it was because the bank stamped on it with using black link and it seemed like a photocopy. I tried to submit my internet connection bill by a company named Storm Fiber but it got declined too because it is not a Government company. I recently provided them with another bank statement and this time I asked the bank to stamp it with the blue link, and I also attached an account maintenance certificate by the bank which shows that I am holding a specific account with the bank since July 2021. I have attached the Bank statement and the account maintenance certificate.

I understand that Amazon holds funds after it deactivates the seller account to issue any refunds or claims by the customers. After completion of 90 days, I appealed to Amazon disbursement team for my funds and they responded me with an email which I have attached here. The hold on my disbursements was removed but I still need to prove my identity. They write that I have to follow certain steps to prove my identity or provide the information Amazon needs for disbursement of my funds. The team wrote that after logging in to my seller account, a self-service feature will guide me through the process to provide the information Amazon needs to disburse my funds. The problem is that I logged into my account, but the self-service feature has not shown anywhere on my account which they mentioned in their email. How can I submit the information Amazon needs when I don’t even have an option to provide Amazon the information they need?.

I am writing to you because I need to access my funds because I have outstanding credit card bills which I have been managing for last 100 days. I need those funds to clear those bills. I will be thankful to you if you please provide me with the solution for my issue.

Sounds like they are asking for verification of your PK residential address and not your business address

You need to post the actual notification though as you’ve been selling on here for over a year , UK FBA with no UK VAT number therefore it maybe a compliance check rather than straight forward verification

As a non UK based seller , you are a NETP and the £85000 vat threshold does not apply to you

Amazon may be holding your funds as they may be personally liable if they release them to you, If you have not registered and paid any UK taxes due
