FBA items returned in perfect working order - why no grade and resell?
I have had 2 FBA items returned to me, as customers claimed spuriously that they had parts missing or were faulty. Both were actually in perfect condition, completely unused, and all parts were present. What I would like to know is why Amazon returned them to me, when I opted in to “grade and resell”? These were fairly expensive items (retailing at over £300 each) and I am not even able to relist them as “Used - Like new”, as that option is not available, so I am stuck with two brand new (but opened) items that I am unable to resell. Yet I have seen other sellers on the same listing who have offered used items. The customer returns report shows one of the items as “customer damaged” and the other as “parts missing” (it says the lead is missing, but it is in the box!) - neither of these things is true. Both are also marked as “defective”, which they are not.
Can anyone shed any light on what is going on? Why are Amazon not regrading them, instead of making stuff up and sending them back to me? Thank God I have not enabled liquidations!

I don’t think the grade items marked as defective. I get items returned to me as defective when they are still in their shrinkwrap.

Amazon will only check certain things. If for instance, these are electrical items, then they probably won’t do much of anything with them, if the customer has said they are faulty.
But if they are in brand new condition still, why can you not resell them?
Is there some reason why you are unable to list as used in any case? Have you tried?
And just for the record, liquidations, will only be used if YOU use it, they won’t just automatically do so.
