A lot of sellers are reporting a simillar downturn.
Same products and prices?
Maybe a bit of “diversity” is what you need. (not the dancers) lol

Buckle up and sit tight. Work on listings & catch up with admin in the downtime. People are just not buying at the moment so we all have to proactively wait until they do.

Why ask? See your other thread, Seller Support have apparently told you why.

You answered you own question on the other thread you said it because of the weak pound and because usa sellers shipping to UK and undercutting british sellers

I’ve been down 60% everyy month for months lol. Has it suddenly got quieter? yes maybe but its on trend for me.

I need to be listing new products - I haven’t listed anything new for a year. I listed 5 new products last week and sold one today. :frowning:

Brexit inevitably means that we are all going to have a very hard time for the next few years. Nearly every Brexit supporting politician now admits that the economy will suffer.

First 2 months of the year compared to last were as follows:

Jan: UP 131%
Feb: UP 92%
Mar: UP 31%

Even though I am up there is a massive downward trend in March. Could be the following:

  1. Brexit
  2. Reported algo change (unconfirmed)
  3. Many Chinese being removed on .DE. They are likely to be also removed on .co.uk. It’s in Amazon’s interests to sell through their products so maybe the sales are being diverted to our Chinese friends accounts.
  4. Could be all of the above

One factor is that Mothers Day last year, 2018, was very early and this year, 2019, is very late. Obviously the importance of this will be widely different depending on the goods you sell but traditionally the period just prior to Mothers Day is one of the busiest retail periods of the year outside the Christmas period.

My EU sales have plummeted over the last 2 weeks. I usually do quite well in France, nothing for days now.

I had a Spanish customer contact me this week saying his post office were withholding his parcel as it was due a customs charge… I explained we were still in the EU and haven’t heard any more.
