Help with Import Entry Number - Shipper Won't Provide This


We are based in the US. We sent a few shipments to Amazon UK prior to obtaining our VAT and EORI numbers. Since obtaining this, we have shipped DDU to the UK using our EORI number. So far so good. However, our problem is with the shipments we sent prior to obtaining our EORI number. We had sent these DDP, assuming that we would receive all the necessary information required as proof of proper VAT and Duties payment upon entry into the UK. Till date, our shipper has been unable to provide the import entry number.

I’d be very grateful for any advice on how to proceed in the event that our shipper cannot provide this number to us. Has anyone else been in this situation? How did you resolve it?
