Hermes Returns - Bad for customers
Just experienced (as a customer) Amazons return process
Returning a tent as it has a small hole in the fabric
The only option available is Hermes (Evri) next day collection from my property.
No time given, no option to give instructions to collect it from the garage etc, no option to schedule collection on a different day.
Just - it will be collected tomorrow at some point …
I will be at work - so what am I supposed to do

Pick a day when you will be in the house
Evri are the cheapest service out there for this, therefore there will be limitations when compared to other couriers, I imagine that if Amazon used a better courier the seller would be charged higher return fees

I just had a Hermes item returned by a customer via a shop drop off. The customer complained about not getting an immediate refund the day they started the return and claimed an A-Z which Amazon approved immediately. The package finally arrived today, 11 days late. it was ripped open. The contents were missing. I asked Hermes for compensation and they said claim from Amazon. Amazon said claim from Hermes. What a shambles!
