Hello Amazon Sellers and Team,

From 1st August 2024, Amazon charge VAT at 20% on its fees this time, and as you know, we pay VAT to brand distributors on every purchase. However, from August 1, 2024, Amazon will apply VAT to all sellers selling on Amazon UK.

So can we claim back this VAT?

We aren't getting profit from 1st August because Amazon charges 20%, so how to run a business and how to get profit? Please guide me.

Dear Amazon Seller Support,

I am requesting a review and removal of negative feedback left by a buyer for Order ID: 204-0104238-9935529, in which the buyer stated: "The product was damaged."

I believe this feedback is unfair and does not reflect the true service experience for the following reasons:

No buyer communication: The buyer made no attempt to contact me to report the issue or request a resolution before leaving this feedback.

Unable to contact buyer: Due to Amazon’s current restrictions, I am unable to reach out to the buyer proactively to investigate or offer support.

Unresolved support case: I have previously raised this concern via a support Case, Case ID: 11014121672, but the case was closed without action or a proper explanation.

As a seller committed to great customer service, I would have been more than happy to resolve the issue had the buyer contacted me. However, without the opportunity to engage, I feel this feedback is both one-sided and potentially avoidable.

I kindly ask for this feedback to be re-evaluated and removed based on the circumstances. If further information is needed, I would be happy to provide it.

Dear Amazon Seller Support,

I am writing to request the removal of negative feedback left by a customer for Order ID: 206-5115505-6436332

The feedback states: "Didn't receive my order."

However, I believe this feedback is unjustified and does not reflect the actual events for the following reasons:

No contact attempt: The buyer did not reach out to me through Amazon to report any delivery issue or to request assistance. I am also not able to contact the buyerr so cannot even attempt to ask them to remove it.

Confirmed delivery: According to Royal Mail tracking, the parcel was successfully delivered and handed to a resident at the delivery address. There is also photographic proof of the delivery.

Address verification: I have checked the delivery location via Google Maps, and the address corresponds with the one used in the order.

Additionally, Amazon’s own policies state that feedback which is solely related to delivery and fulfilled by a third-party carrier may be eligible for removal. In this case, all evidence points to a successful delivery, and the buyer has made no effort to resolve the issue prior to leaving feedback.

I have attempted to raise this through support by raising a case, but the case keeps being closed down without action. I would appreciate if this matter could be escalated for proper review, as the feedback left is not true and unfair.

Please let me know if you require any additional documentation or tracking references to assist with this request.

Hi, I have found the sign up process to be horrific. All I wanted to do was sign up to sell some unwanted books as an individual and the process has been insane. But worse, even though at every stage I tried to tick the 'individual' option, I ended up seeing a charge of £36 going though my account. It seems not matter what you do, the process is so complicated that you end up being tricked into paying.

Anyone got any ideas how to get this back? I seemed (after a lot of searching) to manage to put my account down to an individual account but I never signed up (knowingly) to the business account in the first place.

Feeling utterly robbed.
