Why won't Amazon support small business

A buyer left a negative feedback for me - I quote:

"The feedback rating is because I sent them an e-mail about it, asking if I was missing something or if the listing was incorrect. They never took the time to respond."

This is simply untrue - He sent me an email on November 19 at 11:39pm and I sent him a comprehensive answer on November 20 at 9:56am

He also stated that the part did not fit (although he says that it is not the reason for the negative, see above) The part does fit he simply ordered the wrong part as can be seen in my reply.

The worst part about this is that not only did I answer his message but I also offered to fix his problem free of charge as a gesture of good will.

Amazon refuse point blank to remove or even review this feedback even though this feedback will result in suppressed sales on my account for the usual 60 days

What is really ironic is a recent poll on my seller central page (you know the type) asking if "Amazon was a good place for small business"

Seriously!! you could not make this up

It is not, as a small business you simply cannot rely on Amazon to protect you

GSPR and FBA Inventory

My apologies if this is a duplicated topic, however I am unable to find a specific response. Can anybody shed any light on what happens to stock held in UK FBA centres on the 13th December. By this I mean any stock held that doesn't currently conform to the new GSPR regulations as it doesn't currently need to but will do after the 13th? Hope that makes sense....

Hi there,

I’m hoping someone who’s faced a similar issue, or a member of the support team, can help me out. I recently opened a business bank account with Tide in my company’s name, with me as the director, but it looks like Amazon’s automated verification process isn’t happy with that. My account is now blocked, and it doesn’t accept any proof of ownership, like a bank statement or account verification letter. I can’t find a way to contact support through my account health section, and I’m pretty stuck. I can’t even close my Amazon account. If anyone has had a similar problem, I’d really appreciate any advice or guidance!

Accountant saying im owed a VAT refund?

Hi guys,

With the new VAT on fees rule, my accountant is saying that i am overall owed a VAT refund for the qaurter, instead of the usual other way round where I owe HMRC money. I was just wondering if other people are seeing a similar thing?

Please confirm if you guys are seeing that too.

I am unable to proceed with the Product Listing under Catalogue > Add Products > TAB > Variations - EXTERNAL PRODUCT ID. I have this error:

AZ CLAIMS

We have received over 280 AZ fraudulent claims in the last 5 months. this is because the orders are not marked delivered and when customer receive good they then 1 week later claim AZ refunds, we issue full tracking to amazon with customers signature and even customers in images and still all denied - we fed up of this now and after 86 cases raised with amazon over 5 months NOTHING - NO HELP AND ALL APPEALS DENIED !!!!!

Sales way down on this time last year.

My sales both FBA and FBM over the last 2 months are 40% down on this time last year, is anyone else finding this dramatic drop. I have 100% buy box on the majority of my listings.

By the way, this forum is not half as good as it used to be, eg, there isn't a category to fit this post, I wonder why?

Copy Cat Products - Amazon claiming ABUSE

We are the sole manufacturer and supplier of our novel tape (Ezyglide Tape) we have been selling successfully on Amazon for around 10 years and have great ratings.

Recently we have seen copy cat products springing up.

We have a registered design and trademark for our tape so you'd think Amazon would help us protect our IP right? WRONG!

We try to report the copy cat products (an unending task now), but often our claims are rejected. We have now been told that our claims are abusive and our right to report infringing products has been removed (subject to an appeal).

Frustratingly, no specific/detailed reasons are given and we are at a loss to understand it. The copy cats are clearly copying our IP and yet Amazon are reluctant to do anything. Here is what we write in the 'further info' for our claims:

"These products are using "Slide Tape" in their titles and/or descriptions. "Slide" is an equivalent word and rhymes with "Glide" is a clear attempt to imitate our product, confuse customers and infringe on our trademark due to phonetic similarity."

Is that considered abusive? Am I missing something? PLEASE HELP!

Short of bringing in the lawyers, is there anything we can do? Anyone else have this problem?

There was negative feedback left on our order which highly likely is a mistake or intended for other seller and it would not get removed. Its also has false accusations destroying our reputation.

From us the customer has bought only one coat for £84.99 which has been returned and we issued a full refund for £84.99. The customer has written that they received a refund for only £45 and that there were some fees and deductions which we don’t know where they come from.

Probably this customer has bought coats from other sellers and by mistake wrote this negative feedback on our order. In the feedback it says that the customer bought 3 coats... We have only one order from this customer for one coat and we issued a full refund £84.99 for it. Could someone from Amazon check it and remove this feedback as it is not correct and damages our reputation?
