Recently, I’ve been receiving returned packages showing suspicious signs of tampering—each one has been cut open, all items inside individually checked, then repacked and sealed using Amazon-branded tape and seals. This consistent pattern suggests the packages may be undergoing an internal inspection process, possibly by Amazon’s warehouse or returns team, but the method and condition in which they are returned raise concerns about potential mishandling, unauthorized access, or a breakdown in standard return protocols. Have any of you ever faced such an issue ever or in recent times?

Hi fellow sellers,

Is anyone else facing a rising number of fraudulent return orders lately?

We’ve had multiple cases where customers return completely different or damaged products—sometimes even random trash—and still manage to get full refunds. The worst part? When we file SAFE-T claims, we’re barely getting 10–20% reimbursement, if anything at all.

We put time, money, and effort into quality packaging and service, but these loopholes are draining small businesses like ours. Amazon often seems to side with the customer even in clear cases of fraud.

Anyone found a way to fight this more effectively?

Tips on strengthening claims, filing evidence, or contacting Amazon teams that actually resolve the issue?

Hello Sellers and Amazon Team,

I received a warning for high Late Dispatch Rate (25%) due to missed pickups by Amazon Easy Ship.

The orders were packed and ready on time, but the delivery agent did not come to collect them on the scheduled date.

This issue is affecting my account health, even though the delay was not my fault.Has anyone faced a similar issue? What is the best way to get this corrected or appeal it directly to Amazon?

I appreciate any guidance or support from the community or moderators.

We registered on Amazon in January 2025 and received a call from the Amazon Ads support team. They helped us set up ads, but we weren’t very interested at the time and stopped after a few days.

Now we want to run ads again, but when we try to call them, the number (automated) seems to be switched off.

How can we get in touch with the Amazon advertising support team again, or is there any way to get a dedicated person to help us set things up?

Very Bad suspicious Courier Return Deliveries

Hi everyone, I do not know whether we alone are facing this serious need of an hour issue or anyone else is also facing. We are dealing in Beauty Category. All the Courier Returns we are receiving are totally opened, EVEN THE PRODUCTS LYING INSIDE ARE ALSO OPENED, THEIR SEALING TAPES OR HOLOGRAMS ARE ALSO OPENED. And we receiving like this for last 15 days. We are complaining this, but getting ZERO Results. If you want to check the product inside corrugated boxes, what is the need to tear off its sealing tapes or Hologram Tapes. Who so ever is doing this, is totally destroying our products resulting in non-sellable units.

Amazon needs to pay attention into this matter.Regards

Stop Punishing Sellers for Wrong Returns!

Sellers on Amazon are losing money because of unfair return charges.

Let’s understand with a simple example:

You sell a product for ₹1000 (lets assume a mixer grinder)

Amazon charges ₹220 for shipping (because the item is big)

A buyer returns a wrong item — a tiny thing like a charger

Even though the returned item is small, Amazon still takes ₹220 as shipping charge from you.

Now let’s see what you get back:

Amazon gives you a refund of ₹600 as safety claim (because the return was wrong)

But they also cut ₹220 for shipping

So, you only get ₹380

Generally the product cost is higher than this because sellers keep minimum margin to sell their product in this tough competitive marketplace — even though it was not your fault!

This is unfair. Amazon should not charge full shipping fees when a wrong product is returned. Sellers need support, not losses!

Hi,

Please do not use MCF to deliver products through amazon for the order received from other sources. They do not deliver it and claim as delivered.

I had to refund large amount to customers, as they complain that they did not receive item. When I approach amazon seller support they say it delivered, but they are unable to provide a proof of Delivery.

And they simply write back

After investigation, we received an update from our internal team that we do not provide a proof of delivery for MCF orders.

Additionally, the order was delivered to the customer on April 21st, 2025 and was received by a household member.

Hence, there is no pending action on this order from our end at present.
