MCF- UK to USA customers

I am selling on my own website in the UK and looking to sell to US customers.

I have 2 questions

  1. Am allowed to use my UK seller account to fulfil to the US?

  2. Is it better to use a fulfilment centre in the US? as opposed to one in the UK .

As far as i know MCF is for within the UK only so no exports.
