Non Fulfillment Returns Query
Im not live with my store yet and looking at how best to handle returns (non faulty)
I want to be free of handling products including returns
i wanted to find out how others handle this and my options
my products will be shipped from suppliers not held in fulfillment centers
do others have agreements for products to return products to suppliers?
is there an option to have returns go to fulfillment centers to be re-distributed?
Is this an option and how are products handled that are then faulty possibly caused by the customer but not flagged as such?
any info in this area is greatly received

If you mean amazon fulfilment centres then in your scenario no as the items haven’t been shipped via FBA initially.
Most returns now are refund at first scan with a prepaid return label. If you aren’t handing the returns, you wouldn’t need to agree with your supplier to grade the returned goods and if they are suitable for resale. If you believe the customer has claimed an item is faulty and it isn’t, or if they return something materially different, the supplier would need to photograph the goods for you to raise a safe t claim.
You can set returnless refund scenarios based on return reason and product value.
To be honest, you might be better looking at FBA.

Just to ad that if you don’t live in the UK, but want to store stock here with any kind of prep or returns facility, you’ll need to register for UK VAT
