Prime or is it?

#1

I sell books on Amazon Prime with the belief that customers will buy from me because they will receive the book the next day. Busy Millennials they are my target audience. However I have noticed other sellers who are also selling by Prime BUT they are taking 3 days or more to get the book to the customer. How come?

#2

Seller fulfilled prime. That tends to have a two day margin.
Or alternatively, assuming it’s possible to do, Small and Light.

Take a look at the listing, are they actually fulfilled by Amazon or not?

#3

No they are not FBA. I thought the main point of Prime was the speedy delivery, still confused.

#4

Then they are seller fulfilled prime.
And prime isn’t always 1 day delivery.
It depends on what it is and how it is sent.
S&L for instance, is generally 3 days.
Prime is generally free delivery, to any prime members.

Is 2 days not speedy?

  • In some cases, choosing a higher quantity for an item may make it ineligible for Same-Day Delivery, because multiple units may not be available locally. In this case, the option to choose Same-Day Delivery will disappear, and normal Amazon Prime delivery options will display.
