Royal Mail Shipping purchased through Amazon

I recently purchased a Royal Mail shipping label for a MFN item through Amazon.
The recipient is saying that the parcel has not arrived and Royal Mail will not discuss the issue with me as the contact is between Amazon and Royal Mail. Has anyone got any ideas on how I might get resolution to this s neither Amazon or Royal Mail want to help?
