Sending stock to Australia FBA from UK - Help!
Hi All
Looking some help, I am close to sending my first FBA shipment to Amazon FBA Australia, my so called dedicated Amazon account manager is useless, my question is regarding tax, when I send the shipment valued at selling price on Amazon £6000, do I pay the import duty to my shipper like TNT, is the import duty based on the net cost of products…any help would be greatly appreciated

No offence, but why would you expect the salesman getting you to use a service, to know all about tax?

you will need to ask your accountant about the relevant taxes that way you can work out you actual fees etc rather than being stung for a hidden cost

sending stock via TNT, no initial taxes, Amazon collect the 10% tax on sales, so have to factor this into pricing
