Suspected Intellectual Property Violations

My account has ticked over on to the yellow at risk status so I thought I better do something about the less than 20 (out of more than 100,00 closed listings) which are apparently transgressive of our host’s policies.

Specifically I have around 10 intellectual property violations against Haynes Manuals where the crime is the use of trademarked terms such as Renault, Ford etc. On looking back into this I don’t have any of these items in stock and must have previously deleted the product and listing from my inventory thinking that the Violations would then go away.

As they haven’t is there any good way to appeal against these?

Hi Nick - These ones take 6 months before they will drop off your list of violations, but they will go - mine have now all gone - until the next ones !
I’ve had a few for Haynes and others (ALL previously sold) - but you do need to go into inactive inventory and make sure you completely ‘Delete Products and Listings’

It may just be a temporary glitch. I had my account turn over to the at risk status for around a day a couple of months ago. The next day it was back to normal, it was definitely only for a day as I check it every morning.

Never did anything on the account to resolve it.
