Unable to change my own listings
My issue is 2 fold and I’m hoping someone might have the answer because Amazon haven’t resolved my issue at all!
Firstly it is worth noting that my listings are my own and I’m the only contributor. I’m also in the Amazon brand registry for the ASINs being sold.
My first issue: It seems that Amazon have replaced my product image for some random product that is not mine. No matter what I do I can’t change it (and yes my image should meet the amazon standards). It is a child ASIN and all the other child ASIN images are fine, as is the parent ASIN, but not that one! I have been through their ‘resolve an issue with a listing’ wizard and tried opening case after case to get this resolved and all Amazon do it tell me how to edit a listing… as if I didn’t know!
My other issue: I’m trying to update content (title, bullets and description) on another product. I put in my updates, click save, I get the confirmation that edits have been submitted and if approved changes will show in 15 minutes. I wait and wait for at least 24 hours and nothing! I can see my changes in the back end of my listing but they don’t go live. Again I’ve opened a case with Amazon and again they tell me how to edit a product from my inventory… urgh, so frustrating.
Because I’ve now have this with 2 products I’m wandering if there is a glitch or setting, or something that I can’t see is stopping these changes. I’m literally at my wits end! Has anyone had this issue, and what did you do to resolve it?

General point. Although you created the listing, it’s not now yours - it’s Amazon’s and it’s open to any other seller of the same product
First issue. Unlikely that Amazon have changed the image. More likely to be a competitor, or a seller in a totally unrelated category, hijacking the listing. It happens a lot on here and seems to be very little you can do about it if you can’t persuade SS to change it back
Second issue. Any changes you make are only treated by Amazon as “suggestions” which they may or may not accept. Trying to change the product title seems to be particularly difficult
Sorry I can’t offer any more specific help to resolve it. Others who have had the same experience may be able to explain how they got round it, but I think some have just had to give up

Yes it happened to me a while ago… and now it’s just happened again!
In my case the issue seemed to caused by hijackers on the US version of my listing. Even if you don’t sell in the US or any other countries, Amazon will often create your listing on other marketplaces. The US is particularly problematic because the US listing seems to have priority over the UK one even if the UK version was created first.
The problem was made even worse by Amazon themsleves adding new attributes to the listing and then filing them with their own (wrong) values WITHOUT even consulting me.
The only thing you can do is just keep on to SS. My problem started in the US and took months for them to sort out, and just when I thought the nighmare was over, the UK listing was changed to the values that I’d just had removed from the US listing.
As for the recent issue, a couple of weeks ago I noticed one of my child ASIN’s had had the brand changed to something else. The parent ASIN and the other child ASIN’s were all unaffected.
I haven’t had time to go through all the nonsense with SS and I was just about to open a case when I noticed the ASIN is now showing the correct brand. I’m not sure if this is a permanent change so I’ll have to keep an eye on it.
I’d love to know why Amazon allow random sellers who have no connection with a brand and no sales history to just come along and change things… And why they accept their changes with NO proof whatsoever.
Yet they remove the data of the person who created the listing, who has a long sales history, and who has maybe sold for years with no issues… And if you try to get them to change it back YOU have to jump through hoops and supply them with no end of proof.
It’s utter maddness.
