Unlocking ability to sell Topicals
I’ve recently started a new business manufacturing soap (in a proper manufacturing unit under full regulations etc), and just went through the process of applying to sell Topicals on Amazon so that i can sell my first product.
On application they asked for me to send in a document with all the images of the packaging which i have done, and i got this from them.
Does anyone have any idea why i may have been rejected, or what factors they take into account? How can i learn what i need to do in order to satisfy them?

If you are a new seller it’s sometimes difficult to get undated in some categories- they like to see a selling history.
Sometimes they just don’t want/need any additional sellers in restricted categories.

As mentioned above sometimes it’s not you we sell in this catagory and have done for some time it’s becoming more saturated, your post is the second one I have read in last few days which seems to be declined I think it is just down to QTY already selling in this line.

Interesting, thanks for the response. I’m in the middle of double checking any potential mistakes on the packaging to see if I have missed something regulatory.
I don’t have any batch info on the images because that gets stuck on afterwards once a batch is made. Could it be something like that?

As mentioned, that’s their “it’s not you, it’s me, but it’s really you” way of declining,

Is it worth you trying to get approval to sell just a few topicals that aren’t your own brand just to get a foot in the door? (As it seems that others have been approved for that?)

Just wanted to publish an update on this as it’s now resolved.
After i went away and got the 2 packaging issues i believed the problem to be fixed, i re-applied a few days ago.
Today i got accepted to sell topicals
Looking forward to be able to getting my products uploaded and selling with Amazon!
