Update to Amazon Renewed programme terms


We are updating the Amazon Renewed Programme Terms to introduce multiple cosmetic grades for Wireless and Personal Computer product categories, such as smartphones, smartwatches, laptops, tablets, and desktop PCs.

You can create offers on the same renewed ASIN under three distinct cosmetic conditions:

  • Grade 1 - Excellent condition (former Amazon Renewed single grade)
  • Grade 2 - Good condition
  • Grade 3 - Acceptable condition

Amz still seem to do the Customer Service side and will just refund any item if a Buyer reports any issue up to 364 days old.

Not just return for a repair, but a full refund.

So, the Buyer knows that they can use for the year and get a refund at the end of it. As long as reported by day 364.

I wonder why Sellers do not like this scheme?!?

Instead, sell as ‘Used - Like New’, and you do not have to refund, but can repair the item if it really goes wrong (and no point in a Buyer making up a story of a fault to get a refund for something a year old) and if you wish you can give a lesser time of warranty
