UPS how many boxes a day (in one shipment)

Hi all .
Last 3 year i was shipping between 50-60 boxes 2 times a week. I have never had problem
Last time driver said it is to much and I should ship using pallets. I can’t find information about it . When I create shipment there is no restrictions and on UPS website when I book shipment there is no warnings as well.
How many 15 kg boxes I can ship daily?
Regards

The UPS driver complained about 2 last week, I had a right go at him though, I thought he was taking the biscuit.

Ship as many as you like. Your the customer as it’s UPS job to collect your boxes when you request them to. It might be worth calling your local depot to speak to them regarding it to see if any special arrangements can be made but keep doing what your doing.

As others mentioned, there is no limit on the amount of boxes you can ship into FBA. The UPS driver doesn’t work for Amazon to be telling you about any restrictions.

UPS have a freight option which makes a bigger van come to do the collection.

I imagine at that size and number of boxes you rightfully should be selecting that option.

did you put in the no of boxes when requesting collection? with running up to Xmas, they can get really busy and normal van might not be able to accommodate.

The other day, my usual UPS driver turned up and he knows sometimes what I put on the form is not actual number of boxes that is going as there might have a few more orders in between pop up. He was very worried as its 3PM, he already had half a van full plus he knows he got 1 big pickup at a drop off around 400kg… so over 50 boxes. so he is not sure whether he can fit everything in already without mine!

lucky i only got 2 small ones so push come to shove, he can keep them up front with him if needed.

With the amount OP is shipping, it might be good to go for Pallet as it is cheaper but then it will take longer to be processed. plus they might all need to go different centres.

If you ship that sort of amount, I will give the depot a quick ring in the morning, so they are aware how big a van or a different van they need to send. I usually do if I get oversize items or a lot more than what I put on the form… So they can plan accordingly.

If you’re sending in more than about 250kg in a single shipment (16-17 boxes) a pallet will be more cost effective, but might take slightly longer to get into inventory. With 50-60 boxes I would send the majority of them on a pallet, but still send very low inventory ASINs by UPS.
