previously i reported that all of my funds were stuck in account level reserve but this has now been resolved and this post is to give you some insight and hope on how i managed to resolve it.
firstly, this was a combination of a few things, a technical problem at amazons end, my bank informing me that my account details were compromised in a leak that happened weeks ago but they failed to inform me and unhelpful Amazon support.
so as a recap, i get a payment every 2 weeks, ive been selling on amazon for a year, my last payment was 12/2/25 then i had a KYC and Bank verification request. my funds are now released and i will be paid in a few days.
so when i was asked to complete the KYC and bank verification back in february i got straight on it and did everything i was asked, supplying all of the information that was requested. within a few days i was emailed to say that my various verifications were complete and i could sell again on amazon. i have never been stopped from selling on amazon and my account level reserve just kept increasing but it never transferred to my funds available and the pay me button was just grey.
i contacted support evefrfy day and i just consistently got told to wait either 3 days or 15 days (depending on who i spoke to) or was told that the internal team was dealing with it and they would get back to me. eventually i got a call from pablo on 31st march (about 6 weeks after the verification) and was told that there was a technical issue with bank verifications and to restart the verification for my bank whilst he was on the phone. i did this and the banking issue was rectified, or so i thought. i was told to wait 3 days which is standard and then id be able to access the funds. even tough this felt more of a positive move by support it only half solved the problem but the money was still not moving to available funds.
after many days of contacting support again and looking on here for answers i was kind of giving up on ever seeing my funds, as the some of the posts on here were pretty scary reading, this affected my life, my business and my relationship with my wife, everytime i contacted support i just wanted to cry as it was the most stressful and mind numbing thing i have ever witnessed. THIS IS THE REASON WHY IM WRITING THIS FOLLOW UP, AS HOPEFULLY IT WILL HELP OTHERS.
last week i decided restart my whole KYC process and bank verification, within minutes i had a text from my bank to say that amazon had try to take a £1 payment from my account and that it was flagged as fraudulant, i couldnt understand this as over the last few weeks, amazon has been been randomly paying in or taking out £0 or £1 payments, probably about 8-10 times and i just thought this was the normal process of verification.
i immdeiately contacted my bank and asked if there was a problem with the amazon payment, i spoke to the fraud department and explained that i have been recieving payments from amazon for nearly a year and what the problem was? he told me that my bank details were flagged in an online details data leak from a purchase i made online weeks ago, he said the bank texted me but i have checked and i never recieved a text. he told me to destor my bank card and he would send me another card, the detials would be avaialble next day on my online banking and the new card would be sent to me. the next day i logged onto my bank, got my new details of my new card and entered them into amazon to be verified so that amazon can take payment from me. this was verified within minutes, my kyc was verified but i could still not access my funds, then i remembered the 3 day wait and this was confirmed by support.
yesterday was day 3 (saturday19th april) and i woke up early at 7am and was still unable to access my funds......BUT at 8am my funds moved into my available funds, the pay me button changed colour and my funds are currently flying to my account (hopefully). its now sunday and i am still hopeful this will clear in my account within a few days.
So i hope that this gives you hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
so if you are going through the same as this then please dont bother with support unless you really need to, they tend to just confuse you more and fog your brain, they are no help and 9 times out of 10 youll just get a copy and paste answer, they frightened me into not submitting my kyc and bank verification again as this would trigger a 15+ working days verification process.
PLEASE DO THIS IT MIGHT HELP YOU
first ring your bank and assk if there are any problems with your accoun or any data leaks associated with your data.
delete youir banking details from amazon and then restart your verification both bank and KYC then wait 3 days and see if anything changes. dont contact support unless you really need to as they will just muddy the puddle.
this might not work for you but if i can help one person in the same situation,as i said im still very new to amazon and im learning new things everyday, im just a small sole trader in the uk.
