Would the monthly fees be charged if the account was under review and did not be activated?

Hi, I opened a professional Amazon plan in June, but I did not provided all the identity information then failed the checked by Amazon. The account could not be activated.
Recently, I found that Amazon seemed to charged 2 monthly fees, even if I could not start selling yet.
I tried to contact Amazon service, but I could only ask the help about reactivating the account and could not get the reply from them. How could I get the money back?

The monthly subscription fee is part of the standard Amazon Services Europe Business Solutions Agreement to which you agreed when you created your Professional Selling Plan account.

Your payment method on file will keep getting charged unless you downgrade your Seller Account into Individual, regardless of it’s status or whether you are actively selling.

Hi, this is leechee, I am just new registered seller, and got the same situation as you. Seemed my seller account still not yet been approved, and already deducted 30 pounds from my credit card. Is there anyone else got the same email as the following that I got? Would appreciated for your kind replies, thank you so much!

We have charged your (Visa) credit card for 30.00 in an attempt to settle your account balance.

Please note that the amount charged to your credit card may be less than the total amount you owe due to a credit limit imposed by your bank. In this case, we may continue to attempt charging your card until the remaining balance in your Amazon Selling on Amazon payment account is paid in full.

You can also use the Make a Payment feature to repay the balance you owe. For details, refer “Making a Payment” in Seller Central Help.

To view your payment activity anytime, please log in to your account and refer the Payments Report page.

Since you registered as a Professional Seller, then Amazon will keep charging you the monthly fee regardless of your account status or if you are actively selling.
