What is Amazon Business?

Amazon Business provides purchasing solutions that let registered businesses and their designated associates (users) shop for business supplies on Amazon. People who have a business user account can purchase on Amazon on behalf of their employer.

The Amazon Business Seller programme helps you to grow your business-to-business sales on Amazon. As an Amazon Business seller you will receive benefits, such as differences in pricing and payment features, that simplify buying from you in larger quantities.

What are the main differences between the Amazon Business Seller programme and Selling on Amazon?

The Amazon Business Seller programme allows sellers to cater to the specific requirements of business customers by providing features that are optimised for business-to-business transactions.

Who is an Amazon Business customer?

Amazon Business customers have completed the business account registration process and have been verified as businesses.

How do I cancel my Amazon Business Seller status?

You may opt out of the Amazon Business Seller programme at any point. Please click here to opt out. This only removes the business-to-business-specific features in your Seller Central account, and does not cancel or impact your Professional seller account and you can continue selling on Amazon.

Can I use Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA)?

Yes. A seller's FBA inventory can be used to fulfil orders.

Are there fees for using FBA with Amazon Business?

The Fulfilment by Amazon Fee Schedule applies to business orders fulfilled by Amazon.

What will change in Seller Central for a business seller?

The overall functionality of Seller Central will not change. You will have access to additional Amazon Business features and reports.

How do I add new products?

Add new products using Add a Product, Add Products via Upload using Amazon Business Templates, and Marketplace Web Services (MWS). Please note that these products will be available to all customers.

If you want to create products visible only to Business Customer, create a Business Only Offer.

What is a Badged Seller and what does it mean?

Sellers that are registered for Amazon Business, have activated the VAT Calculation Service and are meeting the general performance criteria to sell on Amazon will receive the Business Seller badge. The badge is displayed to Business Customers near your seller name on the product detail and offer listings pages. This can help to differentiate between your offers and increase your revenue.
