FBA inventory

Use the tools in your seller account to list products, create shipping plans, send in shipments, track and monitor your shipments, and remove inventory from Amazon fulfilment centres.

• Manage FBA inventory: Manage your inventory using the tools on the Manage Inventory page.
• Add one product at a time: List individual products with the Add a Product tool.
• List products for Fulfilment by Amazon: After you create a new listing for a product, specify it as FBA inventory by changing Fulfilled by from Merchant to Amazon.
• Fix stranded inventory: Resolve issues related to your stranded inventory.
• Fix a “no listing” error: Get troubleshooting tips for the most common listing errors related to FBA listing errors.
• Manage Inventory Health: Use the Manage Inventory Health tool to help you maintain enough inventory to cover 30 to 60 days of your expected sales and avoid excess inventory.

Options for creating shipments include the following:

• Send to Amazon: A streamlined shipment creation workflow with simplified steps that saves you time when you replenish inventory. Create your shipments either by adding products from the Send to Amazon page or by uploading the list of products using an Excel spreadsheet.
• Send/replenish inventory to Amazon: This shipment creation workflow is being replaced by Send to Amazon. Starting September 1, 2022, all new FBA shipments must be created either in Send to Amazon or with Amazon Marketplace Web Service or Selling Partner APIs. • Amazon Marketplace Web Service or Selling Partner API: For medium to large shipments. You can integrate your own inventory systems using Amazon APIs.
• Label FBA inventory: Avoid delays, unplanned service fees and penalties by adhering to Amazon’s labelling requirements.

• Track your shipment: Track your shipments to Amazon and the status of each shipment in the Shipping Queue.
• Reconcile your shipment: Identify and resolve any discrepancies between what is listed in your shipping plan and what is received at the fulfilment centre.
• Troubleshoot receiving issues: Get troubleshooting tips for the most common receiving errors related to FBA shipments.

• Remove inventory (overview): Request to have inventory that you have stored in Amazon’s fulfilment centres returned to you or disposed of.
• Remove inventory from fulfilment centres: Create a removal order for any amount of inventory at any time using the tools in your seller account.
• Remove inventory in bulk: Remove inventory in bulk by uploading a tab-delimited .txt file.
• Remove inventory automatically: Have your unfulfillable inventory or inventory that is subject to a long-term storage fee automatically removed from Amazon fulfilment centres and either returned to you or disposed of.

• Fill orders for other sales channels (Multi-Channel Fulfilment): Use Amazon to fill orders from your other sales channels.
• Submit or cancel a Multi-Channel Fulfilment order: Submit Multi-Channel Fulfilment orders by creating orders individually, by using bulk flat file upload or by using the Amazon Marketplace Web Service (Amazon MWS) API.

• Manage FBA orders: Review the status of FBA orders for products sold on Amazon and through Multi-Channel fulfilment on the Manage Orders page.

The Pan-European FBA programme allows you to fulfil offers in all European marketplaces from one inventory pool without incurring per-unit cross-border fulfilment fees for the European Fulfilment Network. Amazon will distribute your inventory across the European Fulfilment Network at no additional cost. You can track your Pan-European FBA offers using all standard reports and tools in Seller Central.

Pan-European FBA will become active for a product only after you create an active FBA offer in all the Amazon European marketplaces listed as required on the Pan-European FBA Inventory page in your Selling on Amazon account.
