Amazon Partnered Carrier Programme (PCP) – Overview & How to Get Started

Important: Please note that the PCP LTL Partner Carrier option is currently only available in the UK and DE. Once this option is available in other locals, this page will be updated.

This page provides an overview of the Amazon Partnered Carrier Programme (PCP), including how to create a shipment. For more information about the Programme, visit the PCP FAQs page.

  1. Amazon Partnered carrier options

This page provides information on the Amazon Partnered Carrier Programme, available to FBA sellers for small parcel deliveries shipments and Pallets (Less Than Truckload/Full Truckload shipments) within EU4 (United Kingdom, France, Germany and Spain). If you do not know yet about the benefits of this Programme, visit this page to learn more.

    1. Small parcel deliveries (SPDs) consist of units packed in boxes, and each box is individually labelled for delivery. These are normally smaller shipments that are sent via UPS (and DHL in Germany).
    2. Pallet (Less Than Truckload/Full Truckload shipments)* shipment combines individual boxes on pallets for delivery. These are normally shipped with either UPS Freight or Kuehne + Nagel.
  2. Partnered Carrier Small-Parcel: How to opt in
    1. When you are preparing your shipment to the fulfilment centre via the shipment creation workflow (step Prepare shipment in the workflow), in the Delivery Service section you will see the option to use our partnered carrier.
Note: For cross-border shipments, this option will only be enabled for eligible shipments. Only small parcel deliveries originating in an Amazon European marketplace and being delivered to any of our European fulfilment centres are permitted.
Note: While UPS and DHL are both partnered carriers, DHL is currently only available for deliveries within Germany.
    2. Once you enter the details of your delivery, you will receive an estimate for the delivery charges so you can decide if you wish to use our partnered carrier for that particular delivery.
    3. Before accepting the delivery charges, carefully review the Amazon contractual terms and conditions for participation in the programme, as well as the carrier terms and conditions.
    4. Click Accept Charges.
    5. After you have completed your delivery, contact your carrier to schedule the pickup. Alternatively, you can take the package yourself to a local carrier’s pickup centre.

Shipping charges are dependent on the dimensions and weight of the parcel(s) or pallet(s), the address from which the shipment originates and the destination fulfilment centre. The estimated cost of these charges will be subject to adjustment if Amazon or the carrier determines that the actual weight and/or dimensions of the package are different from the weight and/or dimensions provided by you. For more information, please visit this page.

Note: Once you have accepted the partnered carrier delivery charges, you must contact your carrier to schedule a pickup. Click here for more information on how to schedule a pickup.
Note: Your FBA units need to be packaged according to Amazon's and your carrier's requirements. For more information, see our help page on Packaging Requirements

Package Requirements can be viewed here

    2. Once you enter the details of your delivery (including proposed freight ready date and declared shipment cost), you will receive an estimate for the delivery charges, where you can decide if you wish to use the service for this shipment. You will also receive an estimated pickup date. Note: Delivery charges are dependent on the quantity, dimensions and weight of pallet(s), the address from which the delivery originates and the destination fulfilment centre. The estimated cost of these charges will be subject to adjustment if Amazon or the carrier determines that the actual weight and/or dimensions of the package are different from the weight and/or dimensions provided by you or if the products on the pallet(s) need to be restacked or the pallet (s) itself is damaged
