Error 6000: ValueName Needs Two Digits

The value ValueName in the field FieldName must have 2 digits (and only 2) to the right of the decimal point (e.g. 4.50).

This error occurs when you provide a numerical value that includes something other than only two digits to the right of the decimal point. Common reasons why this error may occur include:

  • Providing a whole number such as 4 to indicate four units of price or size.
  • Providing only a single digit to the right of the decimal point.
  • Providing more than two digits to the right of the decimal point.
To resolve this error, please provide exactly two digits to the right of the decimal place and resubmit your data. A whole number such as 4 can be represented as 4.00. A number measured to the tenths such as 4.5 can be represented as 4.50.
