Holiday Settings widget in Seller Central gives you the overview of upcoming holidays and allows you to customize them to better match with your operation schedule and fulfilment capability.
There are a set of public holidays predefined in our system at a marketplace level. When estimating the expected ship-by date and delivery date, holidays are not counted as an operating day. When estimated ship-by date and delivery date fall on a holiday, they are pushed out to the next operating day after the holiday(s). This widget will allow you to customize the holidays and override them as operating days based on your operation capability and when you want to keep handling and fulfilling customer orders on holiday(s). The preferences defined in your Holiday Settings influence the delivery promise shown to customers, as well as the date you are expected to ship your orders, the estimated ship-by date.
To override public holidays as operating days for all your self-fulfilled products (standard shipping, non-Prime premium, prime shipping), perform the following steps:
After you have updated your holiday settings, you have the opportunity to revert your changes if there is any change in your operational plan. To update your holiday settings, please perform the following steps:
For ASINs/SKUs associated with manual shipping templates, as long as you override a holiday to an operating day, the day will be counted towards working day and will influence your Estimated Ship Date. For SKUs/ASINs associated with Shipping Settings Automation templates, when you override a holiday to an operating day and if it is also an operating day for the shipping service(s) you have selected in your automation template(s), the holiday will be counted towards working day and will influence your Estimated Ship Date.
When a holiday falls on the weekend, if you override the holiday to an operating day, it will be counted as a working day regardless you have enabled the weekend operations in Order Fulfillment Settings.
