Read onlyHi,
I make and sell my own products and am brand registered on Amazon. Recently I've changed the products from having a pump to a cap, meaning they look a bit different and I need to change the images to reflect this. For some ASINs, I've just gone into edit listing and updated them and they've changed within 24 hours - great! With one listing, my most popular one, the images will not change after several attempts. Amazon have told me they cannot change the images and, as usual, I've hit a brick wall there. There must be some way I can change the images for my own products on Amazon, this is honestly just ridiculous. Does anyone have any suggestions? It's really important!
Thank you.

Sometimes using the image uploader tool for your listings can work: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/imaging/upload/ref=xx_pxim_dnav_xx?mons_redirect=stck_reroute
we were advised on a similar issue to delete the SKU then relist 24 hours later.
Mind you it never worked. After six months of Amazon unable to amend images for a listing only we were on and had brand registry for, we gave up took the kit on the rankings and reviews and created a new ASIN

Try to use Menu - Catalogue - Upload Images
Name your images with the ASIN as shown in the examples, zip them up and upload.
This often works whereas editing the product does not. Wait for a few days to see if the upload worked. If not then delete SKU, wait for at least 3 days, then re-create.
Hello,
I have had issues with this as brand registered as well and managed to fix it in the end. The below worked for me:
• I increased the resolution of the main image to 5000x5000 pixels, the original was 2000x2000.
• I removed as much white space as possible.
After I did this the main image and all the other images updated, it's not an exact science, because I have done this on others that haven't worked, but it might be worth a try.
Amazon will see this as fundamental change to the product, not a slight amendment to wording/text etc, therefore you will need to create a new ASIN.
Image uploader may help but most likely there is a small issue with your images. Make sure the main image has a 1px boarder of pure white around the outside. If a small shadow spreads to the board then this can cause the image not to be accepted. Also start small, just change 1 image at the end of the exisiting images and see if this changes within 24 hours. If it does then switch this to the correct position. Do this one image at a time. If you find 1 doesn't get added and continues to be a problem then you know this is the image that needs to be changed. Crop it slightly or make a small change each time you upload it. Eventually Amazon accept it and it will work.
Thanks for all your suggestions, I am currently trying them all and will update this thread if any of them work!
Do you have any deactivated stores or issues with account health? Amazon see sellers with any issues like this as a less authoritative source for changes to product images - another ridiculous bot driven mess.
Ok so good news - I have resolved the issue thanks to your help! Specifically @Seller_nHm6cEVQn00ip and @Seller_tRuvBEHDedp4q, thank you both very much as your suggestions did work. However, I then had the issue of still having the old images on the listing and I couldn't find an obvious way of removing them (edit listing wouldn't work for this either). To my astonishment, Amazon seller support actually removed the images for me! Admittedly there was a bit of back and forth before they agreed, and they deleted some of the wrong ones initially, but in my 5+ years of selling on Amazon, I think this is the first time they've actually done something helpful for me!
The fact that it was so difficult to change the images in the first place is a joke, and why Amazon couldn't have just said 'why don't you try the image uploader tool' is beyond me, but there we go. So thanks again to everyone, I was a bit worried that @Seller_GFH88sQvPEDFd was right and they would see it as a new product but fortunately not, it's just a small packaging change so it's all good. Thanks guys!
