Royal Mail Postage Bought Through Amazon

As I buy my postage through Amazon and not directly from Royal Mail if it goes missing surely it is up to Amazon to chase it up?

Amazon claim not. They say you have to, but then Royal Mail will refuse as it was purchased through Amazon's account.

Hi there @Seller_yabbkUTrL64xK,

If you have a lost package you will need to work with the carrier as mentioned on the Resolve carrier operational issues with Buy Shipping services help page:

File a claim with Royal Mail

For a loss or damage claim, if you use Royal Mail on Buy Shipping services as the carrier to fulfil your orders, go to Royal Mail business account claims to find more information on how to file a loss or damage claim.

If you do not have a business account and instead use Royal Mail drop-off services, go to Claims Centre.

Thank you for your understanding.

the morel of the story is if at all possible dont use royal mail. in this day and age they are the most expensive and worst service. This is coming with someone who has had a royal mail business account spending 30k a year since 2010..
